An analysis of 30 websites of Spanish developers revealed that most companies have developed websites without taking into account many important parameters that need to be understood when developing a good website that will generate sales.
- Overall Visual Score: The majority of websites have a high level of visual appeal, with an average score of 6.83 out of 10.
- When it comes to interactive elements,96.67% of websites do not have integrated "live chat". This can reduce user interest in repeat visits.
- User behavior on websites: one of the key metrics is the percentage of users who view only one page per visit. In most companies, this figure is higher than 50%, which may indicate inconvenient navigation or lack of incentives to view additional content.
- Availability of social networks: 83.33% of websites have links to social networks, which is a positive indicator. However, 16.67% of sites do not integrate social platforms at all.
- Contact information: contact information is available on all websites, which is a significant advantage. However, 13.33% of sites do not have a feedback form, which can complicate communication for customers.
- Content and filling: 27 sites have high-quality catalog content, including detailed descriptions, specifications, and photos.
- Activity and attendance: The average number of site visits is 36,750 per month. However, a few companies, such as Metrovacesa and AEDAS Homes, demonstrate significantly higher rates (267,023 and 195,370 visits, respectively). Several sites remain practically without traffic.
- Blog: 20 out of 30 sites have a blog, and only 6 companies regularly publish articles. This indicates that some companies ignore the potential of a blog to attract customers through useful content and SEO optimization.
- Functionality for demonstrating objects: Links to subpages with completed objects are absent on 86.67% of sites, which makes it impossible to conveniently and efficiently review the object. Similarly, 3D visualization/aerial survey of the object is absent on 88.24% of sites, limiting the possibility of a comprehensive overview of the object.
- Filters in the catalog: Filters that allow you to quickly find the right products are absent on 63.33% of sites. This greatly complicates navigation and makes users spend more time searching.
- User behavior: The average number of pages visited per visit is only 2.39, which indicates insufficient content quality or navigation problems. The best result was demonstrated by Inmoporsan with 4.6 visited pages. Most sites have an average level of engagement.
